About us & this tool
In our months building Arva, we spoke to over 250 individuals across India. Shockingly, 9 out of 10 shared unsettling experiences with judgmental gynecologists.
We firmly believe in judgment-free medical care, especially regarding personal choices about one's body. We're creating an open-source list of community-recommended gynecologists across Indian cities with the aim of assisting those in need of finding the right healthcare provider.
We have NO AFFILIATIONS with these doctors. We're just getting started, gathering recommendations from the community. Sharing your experiences and suggestions will greatly help us continuously update and improve this list.
Community recommended
In the spirit of transparency, we will gather recommendations and organize them by city, along with specific criteria for identifying reputable doctors. Only after receiving multiple recommendations and conducting thorough vetting will a doctor be considered for inclusion or removal from the list.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who initiated this initiative with their in-depth spreadsheet. Special thanks to the inspiring women championing these recommendations across social media.
