In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is one of the most well-established and effective treatments for family building and navigating fertility challenges.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is one of the most well-established and effective treatments for family building and navigating fertility challenges.

In vitro fertilization (IVF), is the most effective fertility treatment available today and most often the fastest route to a healthy pregnancy.
IVF involves stimulating the ovaries with hormonal medications to develop multiple eggs, retrieving mature eggs from the ovaries, and fertilizing them with sperm in a controlled laboratory setting. The fertilised eggs, now embryos, can then be transferred back into the uterus, aiming for a successful implantation and pregnancy. Alternatively, these embryos can be genetically tested and frozen, or simply frozen for future use.
At Arva Health, we offer a wide range of IVF plans to meet the unique needs of couples, LGBTQIA2S+ and Single Parent, as well as those requiring the use of donor eggs to build their families.

Who can benefit from IVF?

Women with ovulation challenges or blocked fallopian tubes
If you have irregular ovulation, PCOS, endometriosis, or blocked fallopian tubes, IVF helps bypass these challenges by fertilizing eggs in the lab and transferring embryos directly into the uterus.

Men with low sperm count or sperm function issues
If sperm count, motility, or quality is a concern, IVF with ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) can increase the chances of fertilization by selecting and injecting the healthiest sperm directly into an egg.

Couples facing unexplained infertility
If you've been trying to conceive without success and there’s no clear medical explanation, IVF provides a structured and high-precision approach to pregnancy, optimizing every step of the process.

02
Ovarian Stimulation & Trigger Shot
You will take injectable fertility medications for 10-14 days to help multiple follicles grow in your ovaries. Since your body naturally prepares to ovulate, medications are also used to prevent early ovulation, keeping the eggs in the follicles until retrieval. When your follicles reach the right size, a trigger shot is given to mature the eggs and prepare them for collection.

04
Embryo Transfer & beyond
A healthy embryo is placed into your uterus or that of a surrogate, with the goal of implantation and pregnancy.
01
Initial Consultation & Personalized Protocol
Every IVF journey begins with an in-depth fertility assessment with one of our fertility doctors to review your personal and family medical history, discuss your family-building goals, and create a personalized treatment protocol tailored to your body and fertility needs.

03
Egg Retrieval & Fertilization
Your eggs are retrieved in a sedation-assisted procedure and fertilized with sperm (yours or a donor’s) in the lab, where they develop into embryos. If needed, embryos can be tested for chromosomal health before selection for transfer.
